Will I receive a digital proof before my stickers are made?

It depends on the ordering path. Some custom products offer a Manual Proof option, while the live Sticker Builder may use the design and cutline preview you approve during checkout. Review the specific product's proofing options instead of assuming every order includes a later email proof.

What is the Manual Proof option?

Manual Proof is an ordering option for customers who want the art team to prepare a digital design review before production. When your product supports it, choose Manual Proof during the ordering process and include clear notes about sizing, cutline, border, and any special artwork concerns.

What happens if I approve my sticker in the live preview?

Approving the live preview can authorize the job to proceed toward printing using the selected design, options, and cutline. Do not rely on receiving an extra email proof unless you selected a proofing path that provides one. Inspect the preview carefully before confirming your order.

How do I request a change to the sticker cutline before printing?

Use the Manual Proof option when you need the team to adjust a cutline, crop, border, or layout. If a manual proof is sent, request the specific correction before approving it. A later email cannot be assumed to automatically override artwork already approved in the live preview.

How do I approve a manual proof?

Follow the approval link or instructions in the proof email and review the design, wording, shape, dimensions, and placement before approving. Production begins after the required approval and payment conditions are met. Check your spam or promotions folder if you're expecting a proof.

Where will my proof email come from?

Proof messages may come from our artwork/proofing system, including proof@vinyldisorder.com. Check the inbox and spam folder for the email address used at checkout. If nothing arrives and a manual proof was requested, contact support with your order number.

Does production begin before I approve my manual proof?

For an order requiring manual approval, production normally waits for the final proof approval. This is different from a Sticker Builder order where the customer may approve the art and cutline during checkout. The processing timeline depends on which path applies to your item.

What should I check on my proof?

Check spelling, punctuation, logo version, size, orientation, border, cutline, artwork placement, material, laminate, and quantity. If anything is wrong, request a correction before approving. Approved artwork can move into production quickly, so the proof is the best place to catch mistakes.

Are blue or colored cutlines printed on the final sticker?

Cutlines shown in design software or proof previews are typically production guides, not ink that prints onto the finished sticker. A visible border is a different design element. If you're unsure what is cut versus printed, ask before approval.

Can I request changes after approving a proof?

Changes after approval may no longer be possible because custom artwork can be placed into the print and cut queue quickly. Contact us immediately with the order number and exact request, but do not assume an already approved job can be pulled or revised without additional charges.

What if my proof email went to spam?

Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders, including any filtered mail accounts associated with checkout. If a manual proof was required and you still cannot locate it, contact us with your order number so we can investigate. Delayed approval can extend the overall timeline.

What if I notice a spelling mistake on my proof?

Request the correction before you approve it. Spell-check every name, date, number, URL, and punctuation mark carefully, especially on custom lettering. Once approved and produced, customer-approved text errors may require a paid remake.

Can I request multiple revisions to my design?

Tell us what you'd like changed when reviewing a manual proof, and our team can assess the requested revisions. Extensive redesign or vector recreation may involve additional art time or charges. Clear, consolidated feedback is usually the fastest way to reach an approvable design.

Does a digital proof guarantee the exact printed color?

No. A proof is mainly a way to verify the artwork, layout, wording, and cutting setup. Screen differences, print profiles, substrate, and laminate affect finished color. Use our Color Help chart or a physical sample for critical color decisions.

What happens if I order before sending my final artwork?

The order may need artwork supplied or corrected before the team can complete setup. Reply to the order confirmation with the correct original file and your order number as quickly as possible. The production schedule may be affected if the necessary final art or approval is missing.
