Ordering & proofs
How do I order and approve custom stickers?
Decide the intended surface and measure the available space. Choose the appropriate sticker product or current deal, upload the best source artwork, and confirm the finished dimensions and proportions.
By the end: version, spelling, dimensions, proportions, material, finish, shape, quantity, approval.

Order custom stickers with the current builder
Decide the intended surface and measure the available space. Choose the appropriate sticker product or current deal, upload the best source artwork, and confirm the finished dimensions and proportions.
Select a compatible material and finish, then review the cut shape, border, and quantity. Check both the total and what the quantity represents. Complete the approval choice shown on the page, review the cart summary, and place the order.
A special instruction should be visible in the appropriate order workflow. Do not rely on a separate message to silently change an already approved configuration. A required in-hand date needs our confirmation before it becomes a promise.
Read the proof, not just the thumbnail
Check the exact design and version, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, spacing, crop, proportions, finished dimensions, shape, border, material, and finish. For an order with several designs, review every design. Similar-looking versions can still contain meaningful differences.
Cutlines and other production guides may appear in the proof without being printed. An outline drawn into the actual artwork is different. Follow the labels and conventions of the actual proof you receive.
Approving an on-screen preview and requesting a separate Manual Proof are different paths. The ordering screen explains which action authorizes production. Do not assume a separate emailed proof will arrive after you already approved the live preview.
A digital proof is valuable for layout and specification review, but a monitor is not a physical color sample. Report requested changes before approval. After approval, contact us immediately about a change; whether it is possible depends on the job's stage.
Size and proportions
Measure the available space before choosing a size. A long narrow logo and a round badge can have the same maximum dimension but feel very different on a bottle or package.
Keeping proportions means increasing width and height together. A 3 × 2-inch design becomes 6 × 4 inches when enlarged evenly. Forcing it into a 6 × 6-inch square would distort it unless you add space, crop, or redesign the layout.
Text behaves similarly. A short name and a long sentence constrained to the same total width will have different letter heights. Changing the font can change the height even when the overall width stays the same.
Use a paper cutout or measured template to check placement. A web preview is not a calibrated ruler. Confirm whether the displayed dimension refers to the peelable sticker, the outer backing, or another product-specific boundary.
Use the three choices shown by the current builder
The current Cut to Shape builder separates the process into Upload & check your artwork, Choose your options, and Choose your proof. Begin with your best source file. Review the displayed preview and the nonprinting blue cut edge. Open the full editor when the design needs the controls offered there; review the artwork again after an edit rather than assuming the thumbnail still represents the final state.
In the options, check the selected cut shape and Edge style. White border, Color border, and Full bleed describe different appearances. Confirm the finished dimensions and proportions, then choose the material, compatible finish, and quantity. The configured summary and current total are more useful than an old promotion in an article. Do not treat a screenshot’s example price as a standing quote.
Choose the approval path deliberately. Approve this preview means you have checked the artwork, size, edge, and blue cutline. Email me a manual proof asks the team to prepare the final proof from uploaded artwork. Send artwork after purchase allows the supported artwork-later path; the current screen says nothing prints until the artwork is received and the proof is approved. These choices are not interchangeable.
Use the exact choice offered by your product. Some constructions or jobs may require a Manual Proof path. Keep changes visible in the appropriate ordering workflow, and review the cart summary before checkout. If a specification looks wrong, go back and correct it before placing the order. A separate message should not be assumed to silently replace a configuration that has already been approved.
Questions customers ask
Will I always receive another emailed proof?
Do not assume a separate email will arrive after you approve the live preview. The selected approval choice governs the workflow. A Manual Proof request is a distinct path; read the labels on your actual ordering screen.
What if I am not ready to upload?
Use Send artwork after purchase only where that choice is offered. The current Cut to Shape screen explains how to reply to the order email with artwork and states the production hold until receipt and proof approval.
Can the proof certify exact printed color?
A digital proof is useful for layout and configuration. It is not a physical color sample. Discuss a color-critical project and the available sample or review process before approval.
Can I change something after approval?
Contact the team immediately and identify the exact change. Whether it can be made depends on the job’s stage and applicable policy. Sending a new file does not automatically cancel or replace an approved production file.
Worked example: Two similar designs in one order
Open and review each design rather than approving from one small thumbnail. Version A might contain a current URL while Version B contains last year’s address. Confirm the finished dimensions, material, finish, border, cut shape, and quantity for each. Select the approval path shown by that product; a live-preview approval and a separate Manual Proof request have different meanings.
Keep the artwork’s original color profile
We preserve your supplied artwork’s embedded profile during preparation, add the cut line, and send the job to the RIP queue. The RIP translates the source colors for the selected print setup. RGB originals are accepted; do not convert to a generic CMYK profile just to upload. Embed the existing profile where the export format supports it. See the full color-profile workflow and troubleshooting checklist.
The real current proof choices

The screenshot records the actual interface. The shown labels explain distinct production-approval paths; it is not a promise that every product offers all three.
Upload, preview, and open the editor

- Start with Upload your image and the strongest source file.
- Review the preview and its labeled nonprinting blue cut edge.
- Use Open full editor when you need the controls offered there.
- Review dimensions, shape, material, finish, quantity, and approval choice before the cart.

Build the project plan before approving artwork
Read the diagram
- Purpose and surface: an event giveaway, packaging label and window graphic have different construction and viewing needs. Start with the actual use.
- Finished size and artwork version: measure the available space and identify the exact file, spelling and design revision being ordered.
- Material, finish and quantity: choose a supported combination and confirm whether the purchased quantity means stickers, sheets or packs.
- Required date: work backward from the in-hand need using artwork readiness, approval where required, production and carrier transit. Confirm feasibility before ordering.
- Business example: for a box label, record the smooth application area and each design count. Event example: record the distribution count and venue arrival date. Review every configuration before approval.
Follow the current simple sticker builder
These are actual controls, captured October 8, 2026. Product interfaces and supported options can differ. Check the workflow for the exact product you are ordering.
1. Start with your original artwork

- Upload your strongest original artwork using Upload your image. Preserve its incoming embedded color profile. The example logo does not mean your own file has been received.
- Inspect the preview at a useful zoom and check the blue cut edge when it is generated. The blue production guide is not printed artwork.
- If you choose to send artwork after purchase, follow the order-email instructions. The team still needs your artwork and required proof approval before printing.
2. Check the complete configuration

- Check finished width and height together. Confirm the actual cut shape and edge treatment separately from the material and laminate finish.
- Material identifies the base; finish identifies the selected top treatment. Confirm the supported combination rather than treating two similar names as interchangeable.
- Check quantity and the selected summary together. Verify the purchased unit and every design’s configuration before continuing.
3. Choose the appropriate approval path

- Approve this preview: after upload, review the artwork, size, edge and blue cutline before choosing this path. Follow the exact approval action shown by the current builder.
- Email me a manual proof: upload the artwork for the team to prepare the final proof. Review and approve that final proof under the current order workflow.
- Send artwork after purchase: the displayed workflow says to reply to the order email with the artwork. Nothing prints until the artwork is received and the required proof is approved.
- A later note is not a substitute for the approval state of the exact design. Resolve changes before approval and check the final cart configuration.
Choose the approval path for this exact design
Read the diagram
- Approve this preview: upload first, then inspect the artwork, spelling, size, edge, blue cutline and configuration. Complete the actual approval action shown by that builder. Do not assume another emailed review will follow.
- Email me a manual proof: submit artwork and request the offered manual-proof route. The team prepares the final proof, which needs your review and approval under the current order workflow.
- Send artwork after purchase: use the offered route and send the actual artwork as directed in your order email. The displayed workflow requires receipt of the artwork and approval of the proof before printing.
- Review each design and version separately. Selecting a radio button alone is not a substitute for completing the actual required approval action. A later message does not silently replace an already approved job.
Production and carrier transit are separate stages
Read the diagram
- 1. Artwork readiness: Provide usable artwork and resolve the exact configuration.
- 2. Approval where required: Complete the approval path for the exact design/version.
- 3. Production: The approved job enters the product’s production workflow.
- 4. Quality control: The finished job is checked before dispatch.
- 5. Dispatch: The parcel leaves for the selected delivery service.
- 6. Carrier transit: The carrier moves the dispatched parcel.
- 7. In hand: Plan for receipt before the event or installation need.
- Faster shipping addresses carrier transit after dispatch. It does not automatically reduce artwork preparation, approval, production or quality control.
- For a deadline, work backward from the required in-hand date and confirm the whole plan with the team before ordering. Current estimates belong in the live product/policy content, not fixed day counts in this diagram.
Measure the sticker, liner and tab separately
Read the diagram
- Finished sticker: measure the actual peelable printed piece separately from any larger backing. In this example its width is 3 inches.
- Outer liner: the release backing can be larger than the sticker. Here it is 4 inches wide; that number is not a statement of the current builder’s purchased size.
- Optional peel tab: confirm that the exact product offers it and that it appears in the selected configuration and proof. A peel tab is not printed design area.
- An inner kiss-cut opening is not included automatically. Request it only where supported and verify it on the actual proof before approval.
- Check the exact current builder’s size labels, purchased unit, cut format and summary. Confirm with the team when the finished sticker and backing differ; do not infer price or quantity from this illustrative figure.
