Manual proofs, live builder, and approvals — Q&A + FAQ
Understand the two approval flows and prevent irreversible proof mistakes.
Does writing a request in the order notes automatically stop printing?
Do not rely on notes alone if the selected workflow already authorizes production. Use the explicit Manual Proof or hold option supported by the product and confirm that the job is awaiting review. Contact support promptly if you are unsure.
What happens right after I approve a manual proof online?
Approval tells the system the displayed design is accepted and can send the job into production automatically. Review the size, spelling, count, material, finish, and cutline before clicking approval. Changes after approval may not be possible.
Can I approve one design and request changes to another design in the same order?
Explain which exact line item or artwork version is approved and which needs changes. Do not approve an entire combined proof unless every included part is correct. The proof team can confirm how the current order's items are handled.
What if the proof shows an older version of my logo?
Request changes and attach the correct current file, identifying the outdated feature. Do not approve the older artwork expecting a later email to replace it. Keep the approved file version visible in your order communications.
Will the art team correct a misspelled name without asking me?
Do not assume spelling will be changed from what you supplied. Personalized text should be checked character by character before approval. Send corrections clearly through the proof process so the intended wording is documented.
Can I use Manual Proof to request a more even sticker border?
Yes. Explain which edge looks too close or too far from the design and whether you want the visible printed border changed or only the cutline moved. These are separate adjustments and should be reviewed in the new proof.
What should I send if I cannot open the proof link?
Contact the proof or support team with your order number, email address, and a screenshot of the error. Avoid creating repeated approvals or placing another order just because the link did not open.
What is the difference between 'Changes Requested' and 'Approved'?
Changes Requested tells the team something in the displayed proof needs revision. Approved authorizes production of the shown design. If you have any unresolved question about art, size, color, or contour, use the change-request route rather than approving.
Is a proof a photograph of the exact finished sticker?
No. A digital proof communicates the layout and production intentions, but screens do not replicate specialty reflections, every printed color, texture, or the real sticker's thickness. Physical samples are the better way to evaluate those properties.
Can production restart from an updated proof after I request edits?
The proof team can send a revised version for your review in the Manual Proof flow. Wait until that version shows the correct changes, then approve it. Do not treat an earlier proof approval as approval of a different file.
